Adventures in PiYo

YO YO PIYO! Yeah, I know, I need to stop.

This mornings adventure was PiYo SWEAT. Just like the name says, you SWEAT....a lot. I love good cardio and weight training but this workout gave me just what I needed: cardio and stretching. Because I weight train at night, my body was sore and tight this morning. What is PiYo? Why, I will tell you!

PiYo is Pilates (Pi part) and Yoga (Yo part). It is a sneaky program, starting out relatively easy and short.....then BAM! Sweat all over the place. There is a lot of balance involved as well. Lets just say my balance is that of someone who drank WAY too much. (A good friend of mine calls it the Drunken Toddler...DT for short.)

There is another reason this was an adventure for me this morning. I have done this workout before. Today was different because I did not have to modify the moves. Even the triceps push ups. I'm sure you will see other PiYo adventures but this one was important to me because it proves that every day I get stronger.

One more thing! I wore one of my favorite shirts during my work out. It has a motto on it that I try to live by: Be Bold. Be bold in your life and all that you do. To me, it is try new things, get out of your comfort zone. Do something different. Grows starts at the end of your comfort zone.....soooo BE BOLD today!
